FREQUENTLY
ASKED QUESTIONS
Q:
Do I need to be sober now in order to get into your program?
A:
Yes. Although everyone goes through a detoxification phase, All’s
Well Home is not a detox facility.
Q:
Is there a probationary period, and if so, how long will it be before
I can send or receive mail and before I can make telephone calls?
A:
Yes, there is a period beginning from the time when you first enter
the home. We will take steps to protect you. This is usually a 30 day
probationary period. During this time there are certain special rules
and conditions that we expect you to comply with. All of these
special rules will be explained to you in detail when you call us and
we conduct our phone interview. During this period we will also be
evaluating your placement in the home and determining whether you are
the kind of person who will benefit from our program.
Q:
I don’t have a lot of money right now. Is there any way that I can
still get into your program?
A:
There are some options available and we’ll explain them to you when
you contact us.
Q:
What kind of Sober Living programs do you offer?
A:
We have programs approximately 3, 6, 9 months and one 1 year in
length. In addition to the 12 step workshops, you will complete our
12 level self development curriculum. You will also participate in
Anger Management. All’s Well Home structured program includes
special concentration on developing and building social skills to
help you live a successful life outside of the home when you exit.
Our objective is to prepare all
of our guests to be able to re-enter society with the skills and
confidence to know that they will be able to maintain a sober, drug
free life on their own.
Q:
Can I continue to work / go to school while I’m in the program?
A:
In most cases, yes. ALL’S WELL HOME is a working home and everyone
is expected to continue to be as productive as they possibly can.
Developing a sense of self-worth that’s achieved through your own
accomplishments is an important part of your recovery. So, we don’t
want you to have to drop out of school or quit your job simply so you
can participate in the program.
Q:
Do you have overnight passes?
A:
Under certain conditions overnight passes are possible.
